The CFA Young Adult Ministry is a network of small groups which meet throughout Grande Prairie. By doing life together, studying God’s Word, and serving the community, we seek to be spiritually grounded and culturally engaged; to go deep and go out; to be transformed and impact others by the power of God.

If you are 18 to 30 years old and interested in Young Adults, contact Jon Nesbitt at 832-7966.

  • Life Groups

Life Groups are a great way to connect and grow in your faith journey. These small groups meet regularly to learn, laugh and live out Jesus together in community.

  • prayer and counselling

As the need arises, the elders will meet to pray with people and anoint them with oil, as instructed in James. If you would like to meet with the elders for prayer contact the office

Following each service on Sunday morning there is an opportunity for anyone to receive prayer from one of our prayer teams at the altar. We work in pairs and wear name tags that identify who we are.

Our ministry model uses the "Steps to Freedom" model (Neil Anderson) as a framework for healing. Listening to Jesus enables us to assist people who require healing from trauma. Blessing is another valuable recovery tool that we use throughout the ministry time. Each "client" receives approx. 6 hours of ministry time. We always minister in groups of two.
