The purpose of Community Life is to help all our gatherings be meaningful, and life-giving as well as giving opportunity to create new avenues for us to connect and grow as the body of Christ. We want to keep our vision of ‘Be With Him and Be Like Him’ in focus.
We want those who attend our CFA Sunday gatherings to feel welcomed and also to create an environment whereby we can hear what God’s Spirit is speaking and be challenged to grow deeper in our walk with Him. We encourage people to get plugged in and connected to others, helping people become equipped for Kingdom ministry wherever we gather. Being in a church community is a lot like being in a family, and so we want to help our family grow healthy.

Groups
Our Young Adult Community (Ages 18-30s) get together bi-weekly on Monday nights.
If you are interested in joining just chat with us at the office and we will connect you with Kailey and Elisse.

One thing that is evident in light of these past couple of years is the need for connection in smaller groups. There is interest for groups but we need people who will step up to host/facilitate groups. We are toying with the idea of having a ‘groups’ month in the fall where people who are interested in groups can get together to have a larger group meet for a month with the goal of starting up two or three more new groups.
Keep an eye out for this event in September.
Our goal in building small groups is to foster Real Relationships that are centred on us ‘Being with Christ and Becoming like Christ’.
Our CFA Ladies Book Club meets about once a month for fun and fellowship… and of course chatting about our most recent read! We are a very casual bunch and read a variety of books.
How it works is each member gets a month and she chooses the book we’ll read that month, as well as the venue we’ll meet
We usually get together around the end of the month but don’t have a specific day of the week that we always meet on. It changes so we can try to accommodate as many schedules as possible.
We have a WhatsApp group that we communicate through, so if you would like to join us, please contact the church office to be added or for more information.
Ladies, if you are free on Wednesdays at 10 am, we want to invite you to come to the church as the Ladies Morning Out group starts a Right Now Media study on the book of Exodus by Phillip Pointer. We will begin this study on October 4th. Sign up here and enjoy getting to know some of the amazing women that make up our CFA community.
The Warriors is a women’s group looking at helping each other heal from hard circumstances.

Join us on Wednesdays at 1pm at the church for a devotional, prayer time and casual coffee fellowship time.
In a big church you can’t always have a chance to get to know each other. Not everyone is outgoing but it can begin in a smaller group.
Our aim is to build community within the church. A place people can come together and visit about anything. A time to get to know each other, learn to trust each other and share things in an environment of love and privacy.
