ENGAGE: CREATIVE DISCIPLESHIP
Engage in community, discipleship and Engage your passions.
What is ENGAGE?
We are creating a place where teens can engage in community, discipleship and also engage their passions, talents/giftings and maybe discover new ones.
What is the Vision?
Our goal through ENGAGE is that our youth will discover and know who they are and that they are known, loved and wanted in the body of Christ. We will be giving the students opportunities to connect with the church body and use the talents and passions that they already have, and give them the opportunity to learn new ones. We want them to see that you don’t need to be on a stage or in a leadership role to belong in the church, or to Christ.
When is ENGAGE?
Engage is held on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. We meet upstairs in the Upper Room and Room 206 (worship area/Classrooms next to the youth wing).
What will it look like?
There will be two different formats that we will use in this program. The first will be small groups. These nights we will call “Equip Nights.” During “Equip” nights we will talk about what it means to be a Christ follower (disciple), and a part of His body (the Church). There will be time to ask questions, discuss different topics, spend time in the Bible, and build relationships with others.
The second format will be activities. These nights will be called “Experience Nights”. During “Experience” nights the youth (you) will put the things we learn in the small group time into practice as they try out different things, like drama, music, writing, video creation/editing, sewing, poetry, art (drawing/painting) and so much more!

What if I can't come every week? What if I am not interested in a topic?
You do not need to attend both the small group time and the activity nights to participate, nor do you need to attend every week. We know that it is extremely busy to be a teen and don’t want to add more on to your plate. This is an informal (but still structured) time where you are more than welcome to drop in.
