Care Ministry exists for reflection of love and compassion towards the needs by providing spiritual, emotional, and practical support to members of our church family. Our focus is to strengthen personal connections, respond faithfully to those in need and ensure that no one in our congregation feels alone during times of hardships.
Care can be expressed with small and consistent kinds of acts – a phone call, visit, prepared food, prayer, and listening ear. This year, we witnessed how God works powerfully through these simple acts of faithfulness.
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of christ.” - Galatians 6:2
In times of urgent need, volunteers willingly prepared meals and offered support. These acts may seem small, but for the families receiving them, they were powerful reminders that they are not alone. Care is sacred work. It requires patience, humility, and prayer. We also recognize the need for continued growth – strengthening our system, expanding our volunteers, and remaining attentive to those who may quietly struggle.
