First time?
We can't wait to meet you this Sunday
We're excited to meet you!
We're so glad you're thinking about joining us. Whether this is your first time stepping into a church or you're just checking out CFA for the first time, here's everything you need to know so you can walk through the doors feeling at home.
When & Where
We have two services, 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM. A typical Sunday service at CFA runs about 90 minutes. This includes worship, announcements, and the sermon.
Location: 11449 92 Street, Grande Praire, AB
We'd recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early on your first visit so you have time to get settled, meet a few friendly faces, and get a refeshment at our coffee connection table.
What to expect
One of our core values is real relationships. You'll find a mix of ages, backgrounds, and life stages all under one roof, and you're welcome exactly as you are. Our greeters and ushers are at the doors to welcome you, and after the service, you'll find plenty of friendly people happy to chat. If you'd rather ease in quietly and observe your first time, that's completely fine too.
What about my kids?
We love kids and we want them to love being here. Kids Connection runs during both Sunday services for children from nursery through Grade 6. Each age group gets a safe, fun, and age-appropriate experience where they can learn about God in a transformative way. Kids will be dismissed after the announcements.
Do I have to give money?
Nope. Giving is something our church family participates in as an act of worship, but it's never expected of guests. When the offering is taken during the service, feel free to simply let it pass.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. Jeans and a hoodie? Great. Dressed up a little? Also great. We want you to come as you are.
I want to know more
If you want to connect more intentionally, look for our Connection Point table in the foyer. Our team there can answer any questions, tell you more about CFA, and point you toward next steps if you're interested.
