Celebrating God's Work in Bolivia

The vision of RiseUp Bolivia is to build real relationships with the church and brothers and sisters in Bolivia, supporting them as they do what God has called them to do. We are always excited to see those relationships being formed. One of the ministry leaders in La Paz said to us, "You have no idea how much impact your life has had on me since the day I met you when you arrived in Bolivia. God has used your life to speak to me and encourage me to continue in what He has called me to do." clicking on it.

In July 2025 we visited the street ministry in Cochabamba. We were also excited to travel to La Paz to see firsthand the work at Lake Titicaca with the people in the communities there. It was amazing to see the hard work of the Bolivian church as they spread the Gospel in practical ways to the poorest communities in the country.

This year, we also became involved with a new ministry in Santa Cruz called La Olla Grande. Every Friday night they go to the poorest neighbourhood outside the city and provide a hot meal to the children and some of their parents. For some, this is their only hot meal of the week. We were able to give them money with which they bought school supplies for the children. Many of these children have to drop out of school because they can't afford the pencils and notebooks required to attend.

Continue to pray

Please continue to pray for the brothers and sisters in Bolivia who are doing the "leg work" of the ministry. It is not easy, as they sacrifice time, money and comforts to share God's love with people who have even less than they have. Pray that we can continue to support them; there is so much to do, and we want to help them do it.

God keeps showing us more need. Two years ago we didn't know how we would support one ministry, and this year He enabled us to help three ministries in three cities. There is so much more need, but as God gives, we will continue to help the church in Bolivia do what God calls them to do. God calls us to obey. Sometimes it is not easy, sometimes we are not called to do what we want or what we imagined, but when we obey and do what He asks, He blesses us beyond what we can ask or think.
